Mon travail est articulé autour de l’objet et de son lien.

Deux matières, foncièrement liées et interdépendantes, forment un troisième volume, fruit de cette interaction. En retirant un des deux matériaux, l’autre s’effondre, change d’état et de statut.  Ce principe s’applique à tous mes projets : ceux de l’objet, du graphisme ou de l’espace. Il ne s’agit pas d’une intention, mais d’une intuition, perceptible une fois le projet finalisé. 

C’est également le principe du textile : matières entrelacées créant des mailles dans un dialogue paritaire. Les matières textiles m’ont accompagnées tout au long de mon parcours, avant les études et bien avant le métier de designer. Le détournement de pièces industrielles (feutre technique, porcelaine d’isolation, …), m’intéresse particulièrement. De cette manière, les possibilités de la matière s’ouvrent afin d’en explorer les limites. 

La lumière, la ligne, le point, l’horizon et la couleur participent à cette chorégraphie dans un but de cohérence.

My work is structured around the object and its tie.

Two materials, bound together and interdependent, form a third entity, the result of this interaction. Remove one of the two materials and the other one will collapse, changing its condition and status. This principle applies to all of my projects (in the object design, the graphic design or the scenography areas). It is not an intention, but an intuition, observable only after the work is finished.

This is the principle of textile as well : interlaced materials create mesh in an equal dialogue. Textile materials have accompanied me throughout my journey, before the studies and long before the designer profession. I find the « misappropriation » of industrial pieces particularly interesting (felt, insulating porcelain, …).  In this way the capacities of the material open up and allow to find its limits.

Light, dot, line, horizon and color take part in this choreography in order to be consistent.
