Visual identity and portfolio created for the architect’s studio Gardera / Pastre (Paris / Biarritz)
The logo is based on the idea of an element (letter) that evolves in a static frame. The key factor is the letter « P » of the Helvetica Neue font, which is present in the names of the architects : Philippe Pastre / Patrice Gardera. The « G » tips over and gives a direction to follow, like an arrow.
The same « P » hides an architectural element within itself : a small arched door which can adorn a page, a text, a visit card, etc.
The international orange is used in the domains of aerospace or architecture (Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco). It becomes a part of the studio’s identity and can be used as hatches, lines or transformed with a transparency variation.
